Every self-serve report, kit and subscription on this site follows the same path from the moment you land on a product page to the moment the document is in your inbox.

1. Choose Pick a product from Products & Services — a fixed-price report, a document kit, or a monthly subscription like Tariff Watch.

2. Answer a few questions Fill the short intake form for that product: the facts the report actually needs, plus an optional file attachment (quote, invoice, spreadsheet).

3. Pay securely on-site Checkout runs through a Payhip/Stripe overlay on malakarconsulting.com. You never leave the site, and a receipt is emailed automatically.

4. Delivered by email The document arrives in your inbox — usually within the hour for calculation-based reports, within 24 hours for research-based ones. First orders on any product are reviewed by Sudip before they go out.

What happens after you pay

Your intake answers and any attached file are stored outside the public web root — not in a location a browser can reach. Calculation-based products (like the Landed-Cost & Duty Report) run through a deterministic server-side engine that applies published USITC rates and dated trade-action overlays to your product lines. Research- and writing-based products (like the Supplier Vetting Report or an RFP/RFQ draft) are assembled with AI assistance from your inputs and public source data, then checked before delivery.

Every order is logged with a reference number. If anything about your submission is unclear or incomplete, you'll get a "needs info" email with a link back to your form — no lost work, no starting over, and no second charge.

Sudip Malakar, a 17-year supply chain, sourcing and procurement principal, reviews the first order on every product personally, and spot-checks after that. The goal is the same either way: a document you can hand to a customs broker, a buyer, or your own file, with the reasoning shown, not a black box.
