Refund policy
Refunds & delivery, in plain language
This page covers digital products and subscriptions bought on this site. It does not cover the IEEPA tariff refund check tool, which is a separate, unrelated page about checking your eligibility for a customs duty refund.
1. Full refund if the document cannot be produced
Every report and kit on this site is prepared from what you submit — your intake answers and any attached file. If a document genuinely cannot be produced from what you sent (for example, the information needed doesn't exist, is contradictory, or the product turns out not to fit your situation), you are refunded in full. No partial credit, no store credit — the actual amount you paid.
2. Delivered products are final
Once a report, kit or document is produced and delivered to your email, the sale is final, the same as any completed analysis or professional deliverable. This is a digital-goods business: there is no way to "return" a document once it has been prepared and sent.
3. Re-delivery within 90 days
If you lose the email, need the file resent, or need a small factual correction traced to something you originally submitted, email smalakarmail@gmail.com with your order reference within 90 days of delivery and it will be re-sent or corrected at no charge. Requests to redo a report because your own facts changed after delivery (a different supplier, a new quote, a different quantity) are treated as a new order.
4. Subscription cancellation
Subscriptions such as Tariff Watch ($49/month) are billed and managed through Payhip. Cancel anytime from the confirmation or receipt email Payhip sent you, or email smalakarmail@gmail.com and it will be canceled on request. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not refund the current billing period already delivered.
5. How to request a refund
Email smalakarmail@gmail.com with your order reference
(format MC-YYMMDD-XXXX, from your confirmation email) and a short note on what happened.
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Payhip, typically within a few
business days.
6. Disputed charges
If something looks wrong on your statement, please email first — most issues (a duplicate submission, an unrecognized product name, a subscription you forgot about) are resolved faster by email than by a card-network dispute, and a direct refund reaches you sooner than a chargeback does.
